Medical Assistants are important patient advocates and play a vital role in helping to strengthen the bond between the practice and the patient/ family increasing the probability that people will complete their immunizations and other well care. CDC recommends that all health care personnel who administer vaccines receive comprehensive, competency-based training on vaccine administration policies and procedures before administering vaccines. This live training will provide attendees information on proper vaccine administration, vaccine storage and handling, documentation of vaccines in WebIZ (Arkansas's Immunization Information System), vaccine schedules, and adverse events. If you are unable to attend this training, check the https://www.immunizear.org/ website for upcoming dates/locations of other trainings.
